We are so passionate about launching a campaign that will provide support and empowerment to our local law enforcement and first responder teams that are at the front lines of the rising crime trend plaguing Contra Costa County. These disappointing statistics are a problem that have landed Contra Costa twice on the FBI’s Top 12 Most Dangerous Communities in California. We want to bring peace of mind to our community and a reversal of this upward trend in local crime. Even though the challenge is huge, we want to do as much as we can. “It’s disturbing that crime in our community has reached these levels, and our agency is actively working to support local police to help bring these numbers down,” said agency CEO Tyler Johnson.
